Arranging a private jet charter to Muscat is straightforward with Prime Jet Services, offering seamless connections between Dubai and Oman’s capital from a single point of contact. Muscat International Airport (IATA: MCT, ICAO: OOMS) serves as the principal gateway to the sultanate, welcoming travellers from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Whether you are visiting for business or leisure, flying privately ensures your itinerary runs entirely on your terms.
Located in Seeb, the airport sits approximately 13 km from Muscat city centre and 32 km from Port Sultan Qaboos. It is the largest airport in Oman and one of the busiest hubs on the Arabian Peninsula, processing more than 14 million passengers annually against a current capacity of 20 million. The facility features two passenger terminals, one VIP terminal and a dedicated cargo facility, spread across 5,250 acres (21 km²). Expansion plans are in progress to raise annual capacity to 48 million passengers.
Muscat is accessible by private jet from 68 destinations across 32 countries. The routes below represent a selection of the most frequently requested charter flights to and from MCT.
Clients seeking greater flexibility on cost should also consider empty-leg flights, which can offer significant savings on selected one-way sectors.
Every charter arranged by Prime Jet Services includes access to the airport’s dedicated VIP terminal, expedited security clearance and direct transfer from the terminal to the aircraft. On board and on the ground, the following services are available upon booking:
The airport opened in 1973 under the name Seeb International Airport, replacing a smaller airfield at Bayt al Falaj. It was renamed Muscat International Airport in 2008. Successive phases of construction and expansion have transformed the facility into one of the region’s principal aviation hubs, with further development ongoing to meet projected passenger growth.
Muscat occupies a commanding position on the shores of the Arabian Sea along the Gulf of Oman, a location that has underpinned its role as a trading centre since the 1st century BC. Today, the city is home to more than 1.5 million people and balances a dynamic commercial environment with a well-preserved cultural identity. Notable attractions include the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Port Sultan Qaboos, the Museum of Omani Heritage and the National Museum of Oman. The coastline beyond the city offers further opportunities for exploration, with traditional communities and a range of water sports within easy reach.
