Dubai International Airport (IATA: DXB, ICAO: OMDB) is one of the world’s foremost aviation gateways, and arranging a private jet charter to Dubai through Prime Jet Services places you at the centre of that connectivity without the friction of commercial travel. Ranked first globally for international passenger traffic, DXB serves 229 destinations across 97 countries with no domestic routes. Whether you are arriving for business, leisure or onward travel across the region, Prime Jet Services tailors every element of your journey from departure to arrival.
Dubai International Airport sits just 19 m (62 ft) above sea level, positioning it within easy reach of the city it serves. Both runways are asphalt-surfaced and equipped with four sets of instrument landing systems (ILS), enabling safe operations in poor visibility.
DXB’s position between Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas makes it an exceptionally practical hub for private aviation. From here, Prime Jet Services can route you to virtually any significant destination worldwide. Indicative flight durations from Dubai include:
Clients seeking greater flexibility on pricing may also wish to consider our empty-leg flights, which offer access to the same aircraft and service levels at reduced rates on select routes.
Every Prime Jet Services charter to or from Dubai is accompanied by a full suite of concierge and onboard provisions, arranged to your precise requirements.
On arrival at DXB, limousine transfer is available on request, taking you directly from the aircraft to your destination across the emirate. The proximity of the airport to Dubai City Centre — approximately 5 km — means journey times are brief, and our ground team ensures the transition from air to road is seamless and unhurried.
Dubai is the most populous city in the UAE, home to almost 4 million residents and a significant proportion of the country’s expatriate professional community. Its emergence as a global business and tourism destination over the past three decades has been shaped by ambitious infrastructure investment, and its skyline reflects that ambition — most visibly in the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and Palm Jumeirah, the artificial archipelago extending into the Persian Gulf. The city offers an extensive range of high-end dining, luxury retail, and cultural attractions, alongside one of the world’s most active meeting and conference circuits. For private aviation clients, it functions equally well as a final destination or a transit point for onward travel across the Middle East, South Asia and East Africa.
The site that would become DXB saw its first civil flight in 1937, when the airfield served modest routes to Karachi and Southampton. In 1959, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum commissioned a dedicated international airport; it opened the following year with a compact sand runway, replaced by a full asphalt surface in 1965. A major expansion programme beginning in 1997 added two further terminals and a dedicated VIP facility. The airport now holds a maximum passenger handling capacity of 90 million people per year, with more than 86 million passing through annually — generating an economic impact of almost $27 billion.
