Frequently Asked Questions about our Services and Private Jet Charter

Booking process

- How early do i have to book ?
You can book up to 3 hours before the flight subject to availability however we recommend that you book at least 24 hours prior to the flight in order to obtain necessary flight permits.

- Do I have to be a member ?
No, on-demand charter does not require any kind of membership and is accessible to everyone.

- When will my flight be confirmed ?
Your account manager will inform you once the flight is confirmed, this is normally done once the aircraft is chosen and flight paid.

- How will I know that my flight is confirmed ?
Your account manager will inform you and send you the itinerary - flight briefing will all the details required.

- How can I change my booking ?
You will need to contact your account manager in order to modify your booking.

- How to cancel my booking ?
You will need to contact your account manager to cancel your booking, this is subject to cancellation penalty as agreed on booking contract. Remaining funds will be credited back to the original method of payment within 7 working days.

- How can I pay for my flight ?
Payments can be made:
Online via our secure payment platform (VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX) 
Bank transfer (wire)
Locally in United Arab Emirates or through our partner network of travel agents (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, London - United Kingdom, Paris - France, Los Angeles - California United States, Istanbul - Turkey and Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia)

Prior to your flight

- How early to I have to be at the airport ?
Your arrival time at the airport should be at least 15 minutes in order to clear immigration (when required) and security.
This can change from an airport to another and your account manager will keep you informed.

- What documents do I need ?
Valid Identity Card (when flying domestic sectors) and Valid Passports (when flying on international sectors) with Valid Visa (if required) should be presented. The validity of the travel documents are the responsibility of the passengers only.
Your account manager can provide you guidance on the required documentation according to your travel document.
You do not need to present a printed copy of your itinerary but it is advisable to keep it as a reminder.

- What is my luggage allowance ?
Your luggage allowance will be communicated to you prior to confirming your aircraft and is mentioned on the agreed contract. This varies depending on aircraft type, number of passengers and routes flown.

- Can i take my bulky sports equipment on board ?
You need to inform your account manager about any bulky items with their dimensions in order to confirm the acceptance on-board.

- Can I travel with precious materials or large amount of money ?
Yes, however all necessary documentation must be obtained prior to the flight with the local authorities/customs.
You need to inform your account manager if you intend to carry precious materials on-board and let us know about the expected weight and size.
Your valuables will be safe during the flight as only operating crew, yourself and your entourage will be present.

 - Can a wheelchair be provided ?
Yes, you need to inform your account manager at least 24 hours prior to the flight if any of the passengers require a wheelchair in order to make all arrangements with the handling agent at the airport.

- Can you provide medical assistance during the flight ?
If you need medical assistance during the flight, kindly inform your account manager prior to booking as this will be a medical flight. We can provide full size stretcher with an intensive care unit as well as doctor and paramedic.
Acceptance on the flight is subject to prior approval from the flying doctor which will be obtained by your account manager.

- Can i fly with my firearm or hunting rifle ?
Generally, yes but they would need to be unloaded, stowed and secured in the correct container which will be placed in the baggage compartment. Kindly inform your account manager if you intend to travel with firearms.

- Can I fly with my pets ?
Yes, You can fly with your pet but you need to inform your account manager prior to booking your aircraft.
In general, pets such as dogs, cats and birds are accepted.
Prime Jet Services is specialized in flying Falcon birds around the middle-east for hunting or competition.

- Who will be on the flight with me ?
Only the operating crew, yourself and your entourage - no sharing, the cabin is exclusively yours.

- Where do I need to go at the airport ?
Most airports offer separate VIP terminal or entrance for private aviation, the location will be indicated on your itinerary (flight briefing) and you account manager will send you the access map and GPS coordinates if needed.

- Do I have to go through security ?
Yes, you will need to go through security (separate terminal / location) however this will be done keeping in mind that you are VIP and with much more flexibility.

- How crew will be on the flight ?
Prime Jet Services exclusively offers dual pilot operated flights for your safety.
On longer flights where crew members need to take rest, there could be one or two extra crew members who will relay the operating crew during their rest.

On-board your flight

- Will I be served food on-board ?
All our private jet charter include VIP catering suitable for the length of the flight.

- What food will you serve me ?
Prime Jet Services provides VIP catering suitable for the length of the flight which will be decided with you according to your needs and preferences prior to the flight.

- Will there a flight attendant on-board ?
Most of the flights operated on an aircraft with a capacity of 8 passengers or above include a flight attendant, this information will be confirmed by your account manager during the booking process.
A flight attendant can be provided on smaller aircraft upon request.
When there is no flight attendant on-board, the service is performed by the flight crew members (usually the first officer).

- Are there toilets on-board ?
Yes, however a few number of very light jet with a capacity of 4 passengers which are designed for very short flights are not equipped with lavatories. If this is the case, this information will be confirmed by your account manager during the booking process.

- Will I have internet on the flight ?
On newer aircraft, internet is usually fitted and can be used for a fee. Keep in mind that the internet connection is usually provided by satellites and tend to be costly. On a few aircraft, internet is included without extra surcharge.
Your account manager will inform you about the features of the aircraft and the associated costs during the booking process.

- Can I call using my phone on the flight ?
As for the internet, newer aircraft tend to be fitted with full connectivity which will allow you to use your phone or the on-board satellite phone for a fee. Your account manager will inform you about the features of the aircraft and the associated costs during the booking process.

- Can I Smoke on the aircraft ?
Smoking is permitted on with or without a surcharge on numerous aircraft but it can also be totally forbidden on other aircraft. If you have any specific requirement about smoking, please inform your account manager during the booking process.

Miscellaneous

- Will you provide transfer to/from my hotel or residence ?
Prime Jet Services would be happy to assist you with a limousine chauffeur drive service booking upon departure or arrival.
Please inform your account manager if you would like to avail this service.

- What else can you help me with ?
Prime Jet Services can offer you the following service: courier, chauffeur drive, hotel and activities booking as well as luxury car rental in select locations.
